To ensure our design team can create the most accurate and beautiful custom embroidery portrait of your pet, please follow our photo guidelines below. The quality of your uploaded photo directly impacts the final embroidered masterpiece!

🌟 3 Golden Rules for the Perfect Photo

  • 1. Good Lighting is Key Take or choose a photo shot in daylight or a well-lit room. Your pet's features, fur textures, and distinct markings should be clearly visible. Avoid heavy shadows or blurry, pixelated night shots.

  • 2. Front-Facing & Eye Level Photos taken at your pet's eye level work best! Try to ensure your pet is looking directly at the camera. Avoid extreme angles (such as looking down from high above) as they distort your pet's natural facial proportions.

  • 3. Close-Up & Clear Details A close-up shot from the chest up is ideal. Make sure your pet's face, ears, neck, and chest are fully in the frame and not cut off. The higher the resolution of your photo, the finer the details our embroidery machine can capture.

To maintain our high quality standards, please try to avoid uploading photos that are:

  • Too Dark or Backlit: Photos where your pet is just a silhouette against a bright window or light source.

  • Blurry or Out of Focus: Action shots or shaky photos where facial details (eyes, nose, fur direction) are smudged.

  • Obstructed Views: Photos where your pet's face or ears are hidden behind blankets, toys, high grass, or heavily cropped out of the frame.

  • Screenshots: Lower-quality compressed images or screenshots taken from social media video clips.

💡 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I have multiple pets in one design? Yes! However, for the best results, we recommend uploading individual high-quality photos of each pet rather than one group photo. Our design team will skillfully combine them into a single, cohesive embroidery composition.

  • What if I’m not sure my photo works? Don't worry! Upload the best photo you have. If our design team reviews your order and finds that the photo does not meet the minimum quality needed for a premium embroidery result, we will contact you immediately via contact@stitchmory.com to request an alternative before production begins.
